It is the final step of the sharpening process and it removes the last burr from your finishing stone and most importantly, straightens the apex as well as polishes your edge. This leather strop has is designed to be sturdy with 4 rubber for the best stability and high enough to have clearance on your knucles. Made from solid hardwood and premium quality leather.

How to:

Take your strop and make gentle long, continuous, backward (from edge to spine) strokes on the strop, making sure all the edge is covered. Change blade edge side after each stroke. The angle to make these strokes should be the same as the one used in sharpening in stones.
